OfferBee is a real estate marketplace platform that aims to simplify and modernise the home buying and selling experience.

The Challenge

OfferBee approached us at a pivotal moment. They were preparing for a full public launch and needed a bold, future-proof identity to help them stand out in an industry dominated by legacy players. Their platform was already innovative, but their brand was still in its infancy. Our task was to create a complete digital-first brand from the ground up, something distinctly tech-driven yet warm, trustworthy, and accessible.

Strategy & Discovery

We kicked things off with in-depth brand discovery, starting with research into OfferBee’s position in the real estate tech space and a close look at competitors like Zillow, Realtor.com, and Roofstock. We explored OfferBee’s unique selling points: a data-first approach, automation, and AI-powered recommendations that enhance security and save users time. We also dived into their brand personality—aiming for something modern, minimal, and tech-forward, but not cold.

Branding

We began with a structured branding workshop involving key members of the OfferBee team. This session was essential for unpacking who they are, what they stand for, and how they wanted users to perceive them. We explored their brand values—efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and convenience—and discussed how these should come to life visually and verbally.

Logo Design

The OfferBee logo brings together the worlds of property and AI with a clean, thoughtful design. At its core is a swooshing shape that mimics a bee’s flight path, subtly forming the outline of a house, an immediate nod to the platform’s focus on real estate. Rather than using a literal bee, the design incorporates a star symbol at the end of the path. This small but meaningful detail reflects the platform’s emphasis on AI-driven technology and intelligent automation.

Digital Brand Guidelines

To ensure consistency across every touchpoint, we developed a clear and practical set of digital brand guidelines tailored specifically for OfferBee’s fast-growing platform. These guidelines cover everything from logo application and colour usage to typography, layout, and interface elements, providing the internal team with a reliable toolkit for future growth. The visual system strikes a balance between modernity and clarity. Rounded fonts were chosen for their friendly, tech-forward feel, while the colour palette features calm, professional tones with bold yellow accents to reinforce brand recognition. Iconography and layout principles were designed to be simple, scalable, and intuitive, supporting a seamless user experience across devices.

UX/UI

A strong user experience was essential to the success of the OfferBee platform. With a broad audience that includes buyers, sellers, and agents, we needed to design a journey that felt intuitive, informative, and reassuring at every step. We began by mapping out key user flows—exploring how each audience group would search for properties, manage listings, or track transactions. Through competitor analysis and stakeholder interviews, we identified common pain points across the real estate journey: lack of transparency, confusing interfaces, and unnecessary steps. These insights helped us simplify navigation, streamline page structures, and reduce cognitive load.

Prototyping

Prototyping played a crucial role in bridging the gap between concept and execution. We developed interactive prototypes that mimicked the final user experience, complete with transitions, user flows, and basic interactions. This gave OfferBee's team a hands-on look at how the site would feel in action and allowed us to test usability, validate design decisions, and make refinements early on.

Web Design

Although OfferBee had their own internal development team, we led the full design of the website, including UX research, wireframes, prototyping, and responsive layouts. We applied the brand’s visual identity with purpose throughout the design. The bold yellow from the logo was used strategically to highlight key actions and guide the user’s attention without overwhelming the page. Neutral tones provided balance, ensuring clarity and legibility across all content, while rounded buttons and icons helped maintain a friendly, tech-forward tone.

Wireframing

Before any visual styling was applied, we created a full set of wireframes to map out the structure and layout of the website. These designs helped us focus purely on usability, prioritising content hierarchy, navigation paths, and on-page functionality.
